Radisson Hotel Group Expands in Punjab with Signing of Radisson Blu Hotel, Ludhiana

Radisson Hotel Group (RHG) is making waves in Punjab with the signing of the Radisson Blu Hotel, Ludhiana, further cementing its position in the state’s largest industrial and commercial hub. This will be RHG’s 18th property in Punjab, adding to its existing nine operational hotels (911 keys) and eight under development (714 keys). The move highlights the Group’s commitment to expanding in key economic centers while meeting the growing demands of both business and leisure travelers.

Ludhiana, often called the ‘Manchester of India,’ is a powerhouse of industry and culture in Northern India. The upcoming Radisson Blu Hotel, Ludhiana will feature 150 stylish rooms, addressing the rising need for premium hospitality in the city. The hotel will also boast cutting-edge event spaces, making it a top choice for weddings, MICE events, and corporate meetings. Guests can look forward to multiple dining options, including an all-day dining restaurant, a specialty restaurant, and a bar, adding a fresh vibe to Ludhiana’s hospitality scene.

Situated along Ferozepur Road (NH 5), the hotel will be part of a fast-growing hospitality district in Ludhiana’s southwestern area. Its closeness to the upcoming Ludhiana International Airport is expected to boost tourism and economic activity in the region, driving demand for high-quality stays. The property will also be part of a larger mixed-use development, featuring retail and lifestyle brands, making it a hotspot for both business and leisure travelers.

Nikhil Sharma, Managing Director and COO, South Asia, Radisson Hotel Group, shared his excitement about the signing, saying, “Radisson Blu Hotel, Ludhiana, will strengthen our footprint in Punjab’s key commercial hub. The state’s thriving industrial sector, vibrant wedding culture, and growing appetite for premium stays make Radisson Blu the perfect fit for this market. With our commitment to excellence, modern design, and personalized service, this hotel is set to raise the bar in hospitality.”

Davashish Srivastava, Senior Director, Development South Asia, Radisson Hotel Group, added, “Ludhiana’s industrial growth and upcoming infrastructure projects, like the Ludhiana International Airport, create a huge opportunity for premium hospitality offerings.
