Radisson Hotel Group Expands Midscale Portfolio with Four New Park Inn & Suites in Tier-2 and Tier-3 Indian Cities

In a strategic move to strengthen its presence in India’s emerging hospitality markets, Radisson Hotel Group has announced the signing of four new hotels under its midscale brand, Park Inn & Suites by Radisson, in Siliguri, Rajkot, Bhuj, and Darbhanga. The expansion, executed in partnership with NILE Hospitality, reflects Radisson’s continued commitment to tapping the growing travel demand in India’s tier-2 and tier-3 cities, driven by both business and leisure tourism.

Each destination offers unique potential for growth. Rajkot, a vital business and industrial hub in Gujarat, holds strong demand from the corporate sector. Bhuj, strategically located near key trade ports like Mundra and Kandla, presents opportunities at the intersection of business and tourism. Siliguri, often referred to as the gateway to Northeast India, attracts steady footfall due to its religious, cultural, and transit significance. Meanwhile, Darbhanga in Bihar is rapidly evolving into a prominent economic and aviation center, making it a hotspot for hospitality investments.

Commenting on the development, Nikhil Sharma, Managing Director & COO – South Asia, Radisson Hotel Group, said, “This expansion underlines our focus on building a robust presence in India’s rising cities. These new hotels will deliver international hospitality standards with a local touch, meeting the needs of modern travellers in fast-growing but underserved markets.”

Radisson Hotel Group, one of the largest international hotel operators in India, continues to expand its footprint through strategic collaborations. The partnership with NILE Hospitality, known for its regional expertise, supports the group’s vision of delivering value-driven hospitality experiences in non-metro destinations.
