Ravi Gosain Elected President as IATO Concludes Successful 2025 Elections at The Ashok, New Delhi

The Indian Association of Tour Operators (IATO) held its much-anticipated elections for Office Bearers and Executive Committee Members on Saturday, 10th May 2025, at The Ashok Hotel, New Delhi. With an impressive voter turnout of 389 out of 448 eligible members, the elections were conducted in a democratic and peaceful manner, showcasing the unity and spirit of the Indian travel trade fraternity.

Mr. Ravi Gosain of Erco Travels Pvt. Ltd. emerged victorious as the newly elected President of IATO. Joining him in leading the association are Mr. Rajnish Kaistha of Paradise Holidays India Pvt. Ltd. as the Senior Vice President and Mr. Sanjay Razdan of Razdan Holidays as the Vice President. The key roles of Honorary Secretary and Treasurer were secured by Mr. Sunil Mishra from Cosmos Travels & Tours and Mr. Deepak Kumarr Bhatnagar of Minar Travels (India) Pvt. Ltd., respectively. Mr. Viney Tyagi of Uni Crystal Holidays Pvt. Ltd. was elected as the Honorary Joint Secretary. As per the IATO Memorandum of Association, Mr. Rajiv Mehra of Uday Tours & Travel Pvt. Ltd. continues to serve as the Immediate Past President.

The five Active category Executive Committee members elected include Mr. Harish Mathur (Concord Travels & Tours), Mr. Manoj Kumar Matta (Oriental Vacations & Journeys Pvt. Ltd.), Mr. Rishi Kapoor (Abercrombie & Kent India Pvt. Ltd.), Mr. Sejoe Jose (Marvel Tours Pvt. Ltd.), and Mr. Tony Marwah (Indian Travel Promotion Company Pvt. Ltd.).

Three members were elected in the Allied category: Mr. Wasim Shaikh (Active Holidays), Mr. P. Vijayasarathy (Benchmark Hotels Pvt. Ltd.), and Mr. Ashok Dhoot (Harsh Travels).
The recently elected team is expected to spearhead new initiatives to promote Indian tourism both domestically and internationally, bringing a wealth of experience and industry insight to the table. The departing committee thanked the IATO personnel for their committed assistance in making the elections run smoothly and thanked all of the IATO members for their enthusiastic involvement.
