Sadip Lama, Managing Director of Sumi Yashshree Hotels & Resorts was honoured with The Himalayan Paryatan Mitra Award for Tourism & Peace at the 6th Himalayan Hospitality & Tourism Awards. The prestigious award ceremony, held in Siliguri, was organized by the UNWTO Himalayan Hospitality and Tourism Development Network (HHTDN) coinciding with World Tourism Day.
The annual event celebrates contributions to tourism and hospitality in the Eastern Himalaya region. This year’s ceremony saw the presence of key figures from the hospitality sector, further highlighting the significance of the awards in fostering tourism and peace.

HHTDN, which serves as an umbrella organization for tour operators, hoteliers, homestays and transporters has been instrumental in recognizing outstanding destinations, products, and people in the tourism industry for the last few years.
