SalamAir Partners with Sabre to Expand Global Reach and Boost Revenue Growth

In a major move aimed at accelerating its international growth, Oman’s leading low-cost carrier, SalamAir, has announced a strategic partnership with Sabre Corporation, a global leader in travel technology. The agreement will see SalamAir leverage Sabre’s powerful global distribution system (GDS) to enhance its visibility, reach new markets, and drive revenue growth by connecting with travel agencies and travelers around the world.

Through this collaboration, SalamAir’s flight offerings and services will now be available to a broader global audience via Sabre’s expansive travel marketplace. This development is expected to significantly increase the airline’s bookings, introduce its affordable travel options to new customer segments, and strengthen its position in the regional aviation landscape.

Steven Allen, Chief Commercial Officer at SalamAir, described the partnership as a “significant milestone” in the airline’s growth journey. “By utilizing Sabre’s robust global distribution platform, we aim to achieve greater global visibility, reach new markets, and offer our affordable travel options to a wider audience,” he said.

Sabre’s strong footprint in the Middle East and its advanced travel technology solutions make it a preferred partner for airlines aiming to scale efficiently. The new distribution agreement builds on SalamAir’s existing relationship with Sabre, having recently renewed its long-term agreement for the Radixx Reservation System. SalamAir has been using Radixx since 2017 to streamline its passenger booking processes and enhance operational efficiency.
