The South Asian Travel Awards (SATA) 2025 has officially launched its evaluation process in Kathmandu, following successful rounds held earlier in Colombo, Sri Lanka, and Bengaluru and New Delhi, India. The evaluations in Nepal will continue until May 23, after which the esteemed jury panel will head to Paro, Bhutan, to continue assessing top nominees from across the region.
Renowned for being the only travel awards platform in South Asia to conduct in-person evaluations, SATA sets itself apart by offering a transparent and participation-fee-free process. A distinguished multinational panel of jurors travels to eight key cities, giving nominees the opportunity to present their entries face-to-face. Each nomination is carefully assessed and scored, ensuring the most deserving contenders in the hospitality and travel industry are recognized.
Now in its 9th edition, SATA continues to spotlight excellence in South Asian tourism, with the grand awards ceremony scheduled to be held in Sri Lanka in September 2025.
