SATTE 2025, South Asia’s premier travel and tourism exhibition, is gearing up for its 32nd edition from February 19 to 21 at Yashobhoomi, New Delhi. Organized by Informa Markets in India, this year’s event is set to be the largest yet, featuring over 2,000 exhibitors, participation from more than 50 countries, and strong representation from 28 Indian states. With an expected footfall of over 40,000 visitors, SATTE 2025 aims to be a pivotal platform for global networking, industry growth, and innovation in travel and tourism.

The event continues to receive robust support from the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, as well as international tourism boards, travel trade organizations, airlines, hotels, wellness resorts, cruises, and corporate travel players. Notably, this edition introduces the ‘Atithi’ initiative in collaboration with the Service Export Promotion Council (SEPC), facilitating over 250 international business opportunities and strengthening India’s position as a top travel destination.

According to Yogesh Mudras, Managing Director of Informa Markets in India, the Indian travel sector is witnessing a shift toward experience-driven tourism, with a growing focus on cultural connections, sustainability, and tech-enabled personalization. He highlighted that government initiatives, including e-visa streamlining and enhanced connectivity, will further strengthen the industry, making travel more accessible for domestic and international visitors.

SATTE 2025 will showcase a diverse array of exhibitors, including travel agents, tour operators, airlines, hoteliers, and tourism boards. Saudia Tourism is the Premium Partner Country, while Malaysia, Thailand, Dubai, Sri Lanka, and Nepal join as Partner Countries. The event will also see participation from Hong Kong, Egypt, Greece, Jamaica, Taiwan, Uzbekistan, Qatar, Mauritius, and several others. Among Indian states, Uttar Pradesh will be the Host State, with Jharkhand as the Focus State and Gujarat, Rajasthan, Odisha, Kerala, Uttarakhand, Madhya Pradesh, and Goa as Partner States.

Key sectors such as homestays, adventure tourism, domestic travel, and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) will take center stage. The Indian Port Authority will also participate, spotlighting the Cruise Bharat Mission to boost India’s cruise tourism potential. Additionally, the SATTE Leadership Summit will explore emerging industry trends, while awards like the SATTE Awards, SHAKTI Awards, and Colours of SATTE will recognize excellence and innovation.

A special highlight is the knowledge-sharing platform featuring discussions on India’s tourism growth potential, the role of AI in hyper-connected tourism, cruise tourism, and outbound travel trends. Social media influencers will also lead a session on the impact of viral content on travel destinations.

SATTE 2025 will continue its engagement with the industry throughout the year with initiatives like SATTE 365 Clicks, the SATTE Podcast, and SATTE Road Shows, reinforcing its role as South Asia’s most influential travel and tourism event.
