Saudi Tourism has launched a high-profile three-city India roadshow from September 15 to 19, 2025, reinforcing its commitment to the Indian market—one of the Kingdom’s most important source markets for both leisure and business travel. The six-day mega trade event kicked off in Hyderabad on September 15, will continue in Ahmedabad on September 17, and conclude in Delhi on September 19. Designed to deepen engagement with the Indian travel trade, the roadshow serves as a strategic platform to boost Saudi’s positioning as a premier global destination for leisure, GIT (Group Inclusive Tours), MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions), and wedding tourism.
The event comes at a pivotal moment as Saudi Tourism introduces its new Winter Season products, curated to appeal to Indian travelers seeking authentic and world-class experiences. The roadshow also follows the global launch of Saudi’s latest “Unreal Calendar” campaign featuring football icon Cristiano Ronaldo (CR7), rolled out across India, Europe, and China. The campaign—“I Came for Football, I Stayed for More”—highlights Saudi Arabia’s evolving tourism calendar filled with world-class sports, entertainment, film, fashion, and cultural experiences.
More than 14 leading Saudi suppliers, including DMCs, DMOs, and airlines, are participating in the roadshow, presenting a diverse portfolio of offerings that include UNESCO heritage sites, cultural landmarks, desert landscapes, adventure experiences, and vibrant entertainment festivals. The initiative not only introduces fresh travel opportunities but also aims to strengthen buyer-supplier synergies with Indian travel agencies, fostering long-term trade partnerships.
India continues to be at the center of Saudi Arabia’s tourism growth strategy under the Kingdom’s Vision 2030. With India’s booming economy, growing middle class, improved air connectivity, and the world’s largest youth population eager to explore short-haul destinations, Saudi Tourism sees significant potential in tapping this market. The ongoing trade engagements, roadshows, and participation in key fairs are part of the Saudi Tourism Authority’s long-term strategy to transform India into one of its strongest international source markets.
With this roadshow, Saudi Arabia reinforces its ambitions not just as a religious tourism hub but as a holistic global destination for leisure, weddings, group travel, and business events, offering Indian travelers a seamless blend of tradition, culture, and modern experiences.
