
Visakhapatnam, February 12, 2026: The APTM 2026 – ADTOI National Travel Mart, commencing on February 13 in Visakhapatnam, will feature seven focused panel discussions structured around the “Seven Anchor Hubs of Andhra Pradesh,” informed Mr. Rajat Sawhney, Senior Vice President, ADTOI.
The two-day National Travel Mart has curated thematic business sessions aimed at aligning Andhra Pradesh’s tourism strengths with evolving domestic travel trends, while creating a strong B2B engagement platform for stakeholders.
Day One – 13 February
The opening session, “Rediscovering Andhra’s Hidden Gems” (Backdrop: Gandikota), will spotlight emerging and lesser-known destinations. Moderated by Ms. Meenakshi Anantram, the panel will feature Mr. Vivek Acharya, Smt. A.A.L. Padmavathi (APTDC), Mr. OSR Naresh, Mr. Prabhu Kishore, and Mr. Tarun Kakani.
This will be followed by “Sacred Trails – Temple Tourism and Shakti Peethas” (Backdrop: Srisailam), moderated by Mr. N.S.N. Mohan. Speakers include Dr. Dinesh Soni, Dr. Nukasani Balaji (APTDC), Mr. Neelu Sharma, and Mr. K. Vijay Mohan.
Day Two – 14 February
The second day will begin with “ADTOI – The Leading Ladies” (Backdrop: Rajamahendravaram), moderated by Mrs. Sujata Bagla, focusing on women leadership within the tourism trade.
The session on “Tribal, Buddhist and Unique Homestays” (Backdrop: Araku Valley), moderated by Mr. K. Vijay Mohan, will deliberate on experiential, heritage and community-based tourism opportunities.
A high-level Round Table titled “Building Andhra’s Tourism Future” (Backdrop: Amaravati) will bring together Mr. Suman Billa, Additional Secretary & Director General, Ministry of Tourism; Mr. Ajay Jain, Special Chief Secretary, Tourism & Culture, Andhra Pradesh; Mr. Ved Khanna, President ADTOI; along with presidents of leading national travel associations.
The “Weddings and MICE – Showcasing Andhra” session (Backdrop: Visakhapatnam) will be moderated by Mr. Rajat Sawhney, Senior Vice President, ADTOI, focusing on positioning the state as a competitive destination for destination weddings and corporate MICE business.
The Mart will conclude with “ADTOI Chapter Speaks” (Backdrop: Tirupati), featuring Chapter Chairmen from Kerala, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, Madhya Pradesh and Jammu & Kashmir.
