
Madhya Pradesh Tourism brought the soul of India to the heart of Japan through a vibrant and engaging roadshow in Tokyo. Spearheaded by Mr. Sheo Shekhar Shukla, Principal Secretary, Tourism & Culture, Government of Madhya Pradesh and Managing Director of the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board, the event showcased the diverse tourism experiences of the state—from heritage and wildlife to spirituality and adventure—to Tokyo’s travel trade community.
The roadshow was further elevated by the presence of Ms. Udita Gaurav, First Secretary (Commerce & Osaka Expo 2025), who underscored the importance of Indo-Japan tourism collaboration in light of the upcoming Osaka Expo 2025. Madhya Pradesh Tourism’s participation in global platforms like the Expo is aimed at strengthening inbound tourism and attracting long-haul travelers.

Also marking their valuable presence were Mr. Mahender Pratap Singh, Chairman, IATO (MP & Chhattisgarh), Mr. Vivek Jude, Deputy Director, Events & Marketing, and Mrs. Neelam Singh, Director, Travel India Tourism Pvt. Ltd. Their contributions further enriched the cultural dialogue, positioning Madhya Pradesh as a must-visit destination on the world map.

Together, the team reinforced the commitment to taking the heart of India to international audiences—making this not just a roadshow, but a global step forward.
