Singapore Airlines, voted the world’s best carrier, has expanded its nonstop service between Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) and Singapore Changi Airport (SIN), restoring the route to its pre-pandemic frequency. The airline now operates five weekly flights, offering travelers greater flexibility and convenience on one of the world’s longest commercial flights. Operating as SQ27, departures from Seattle are scheduled every Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at 10:15 AM, with arrival in Singapore at 5:35 PM the following day after a 16-hour, 20-minute journey. First launched in September 2019 with three weekly flights, the route expanded to five later that year but was suspended in 2020 due to the pandemic. The Airbus A350, known for fuel efficiency and passenger comfort, serves the route, featuring advanced cabin experiences across Economy, Premium Economy, and Business Class. From six-way adjustable headrests and 1,800+ KrisWorld entertainment options in Economy to flatbed Scottish leather seats with luxury bedding in Business Class, the service caters to long-haul comfort. Dining onboard highlights Singapore Airlines’ “farm to plane” concept, sourcing ingredients such as Hudson Valley steelhead trout and Oregon’s Rogue Creamery cheeses, while passengers in Premium Economy and Business can pre-order gourmet meals through the “Book the Cook” service. Wellness-focused dining, created with Golden Door spa, further enhances the inflight experience. This expansion not only strengthens connectivity between the Pacific Northwest and Asia but also reaffirms Singapore Airlines’ commitment to offering premium long-haul travel.
