In 2024, Singapore welcomed 1.20 million Indian tourists, showcasing the strong and growing interest of Indian travelers in visiting the Lion City. During the session, the STB team highlighted key developments, including new tourist attractions, upcoming events, and major initiatives planned for the year.
2025 marks a significant milestone for Singapore as it celebrates 60 years of diplomatic and cultural relations with India. To commemorate this, the Singapore Tourism Board has curated a year-long series of exclusive offers and experiences aimed at Indian travelers. Mr. Tan expressed excitement for this special year, saying, “We warmly invite our friends in India to join us for exciting experiences and exclusive offers that celebrate these connections. We look forward to inspiring a renewed discovery of Singapore and ushering in the next decade of rewarding friendship between our countries.”
As the India-Singapore relationship enters its 60th year, the STB’s focus is to foster deeper cultural ties and provide memorable travel experiences to Indian tourists through innovative promotions and events. This year-long initiative is set to enhance tourism exchanges and strengthen the bonds between the two nations.
The roundtable was a key event in the ongoing efforts to promote Singapore as a top destination for Indian travelers, while also building on the strong cultural and diplomatic ties that have flourished for six decades.
