
Skal International Kashmir has welcomed the decision of Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha to reopen 14 major tourist destinations across the Kashmir Valley, calling it a significant step toward revitalising the region’s tourism sector.
The association said the move reflects the administration’s commitment to restoring traveller confidence and supporting the hospitality ecosystem.
Among the key destinations reopened are Doodhpathri and Yousmarg, along with other prominent scenic locations popular with families, nature lovers and adventure seekers.
Skal International Kashmir expressed gratitude to Lt. Governor Manoj Sinha, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and Director Tourism Kashmir Qamar Sajad for their leadership and continued efforts to strengthen Jammu & Kashmir’s tourism sector.
Reaffirming its commitment to promoting the Valley as a safe and world-class destination, the association said the reopening will support thousands of livelihoods linked to tourism and hospitality.
