
Skyview by Empyrean, a premier mountain destination in Jammu’s Sanget Valley, has been honored with the 2nd FICCI Award for Excellence in Maintenance Systems for its state-of-the-art ropeway connecting Sanget to Patnitop. Recognized for its superior maintenance practices, the award was presented to Upen Anand, General Manager, Skyview by Empyrean, by Dr. Vikas Kumar, MD of DMRC Limited, at FICCI’s Federation House in New Delhi.
The award underscores Skyview’s commitment to safety, sustainability, and operational excellence, setting benchmarks in ropeway infrastructure. A rigorous evaluation process, including a site audit and jury assessment, highlighted its internationally accredited maintenance protocols.

Operational since 2019, Skyview Gondola is India’s highest CEN-certified ropeway, covering 2.8 km in just 10 minutes. Developed with global partners such as POMA, E.R.I.C Ropeways, and MND Group, it ensures uninterrupted operations with minimal ecological impact. Skyview by Empyrean has also been recognized as an RTSOI Champion of Sustainability in Tourism Services.
