Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau was honoured with the prestigious Best International Tourism Board award at the inaugural Global Tourism Awards 2024, held at The Suryaa New Delhi. This recognition celebrates the Bureau’s outstanding efforts and achievements in promoting Sri Lanka as a top global travel destination.
The award was presented to Harin Fernando, Minister for Tourism, Lands, Sports, and Youth Affairs, Government of Sri Lanka, and Chalaka Gajabahu, Chairman of the Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau. Their leadership and vision have been instrumental in advancing Sri Lanka’s tourism industry and positioning the country as a preferred destination for travellers worldwide.
