The recently renovated Star Voyager cruise ship will make her premiere from Hong Kong from June 27 to August 31, 2025, according to an official announcement from StarCruises. Rekindling a heritage that started more than 30 years ago, this signifies the StarCruises brand’s triumphant return to one of its most recognisable homeports. It is anticipated that Star Voyager’s arrival will greatly increase cruise travel in Hong Kong and throughout the Asia-Pacific area, giving the local cruise industry new life.
During its summer homeport season, Star Voyager will offer a variety of immersive cruise itineraries, including 2, 3, and 5-night voyages to popular destinations such as Taipei (Keelung), Kaohsiung, and Penghu in Taiwan, as well as Naha and Ishigaki in Okinawa, Japan. One of the key highlights is the return of the much-loved 2-Night Weekend High Seas Cruise, departing every Friday, ideal for travelers seeking a luxurious short getaway.
Michael Goh, President of StarDream Cruises, expressed pride in the brand’s return to Hong Kong, stating, “This homecoming is deeply meaningful, reconnecting us with our roots and long-standing legacy in the region. We’re excited to introduce Star Voyager as a symbol of our renewed vision—offering premium regional cruise experiences tailored to both the domestic market and the rising Fly and Rail cruise segment.”
