Suneel Anchipaka, IAS, has been given the additional charge of Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Delhi Tourism and Transportation Development Corporation (DTTDC). He is currently serving as Special Commissioner (Trade & Taxes) and also holds additional responsibilities as Special Secretary (Tourism) and Special Secretary (Public Works Department) in the Government of Delhi.
With this expanded mandate, Anchipaka will be responsible for steering both the strategic direction and day-to-day operations of DTTDC, while continuing to discharge his existing administrative roles. The appointment is aimed at ensuring closer alignment between tourism policy, infrastructure development and execution at the corporation level.
DTTDC plays a key role in Delhi’s tourism promotion, hospitality assets, transport-linked tourism services and infrastructure support. The additional charge is expected to strengthen coordination between government departments and the tourism corporation, particularly at a time when the capital is focusing on destination development, visitor experience and urban infrastructure upgrades.
