TAAI Honors Trailblazing Women in Travel and Tourism at Inaugural Women of Wonder Awards 2025

In a landmark celebration of its 75th anniversary, the Travel Agents Association of India (TAAI) hosted the first-ever TAAI Women of Wonder (WoW) Awards 2025 at The Ashok Hotel in New Delhi. The event, held on the occasion of International Women’s Day, recognized and celebrated the remarkable contributions of women entrepreneurs, journalists, and executives across the travel, tourism, hospitality, and aviation sectors.

The prestigious awards honored industry stalwarts such as Jyotsna Suri (Chairperson, Lalit Hotels), Priya Paul (Chairperson, Park Hotels), Gursharan Goyal (Managing Director and Co-Founder, STIC Travel Group), Vasudha Sondhi (Outbound Marketing), Pallavi Mehra (Informa Markets), Neeraj Ghai (First Woman President of TAAI), and Ranju Alex (Marriott International), among others. These women have been instrumental in shaping the growth and innovation of India’s travel and tourism industry.

TAAI honored Smt. Pravati Parida, Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister & Minister of W&CD, Mission Shakti & Tourism, Odisha, with the prestigious Scroll of Honour Award. This recognition acknowledges her exceptional leadership in promoting the travel and tourism industry in Odisha and her commitment to empowering women in the sector.

Mrs. Gursharan Goyal, a visionary leader and co-founder of STIC Travel Group, was conferred with the Scroll of Honour for her distinguished leadership and outstanding contributions to the advancement of the travel and tourism sector. Her exemplary role has set a benchmark for excellence in the industry.

The TAAI WoW Awards 2025 not only celebrated the achievements of these extraordinary women but also highlighted the importance of gender diversity and empowerment in driving the future of travel and tourism.
