The Travel Agents Federation of India (TAFI) has announced Vietnam as the host destination for its 2025 Convention, with Ninh Binh Province set to welcome Indian travel trade professionals from January 17 to 20.
TAFI President Ajay Prakash expressed his enthusiasm for introducing members to this emerging Asian destination. Speaking with Travel World Online, Prakash shared that the convention will span three nights (January 17–19) under the theme Tourism for Tomorrow: Protecting the Planet. Highlighting Vietnam’s commitment to sustainable tourism, he remarked, “Ninh Binh Province, just a 2.5-hour drive from Hanoi airport, is a perfect choice for this event.”
Describing Ninh Binh, Prakash noted its untapped tourism potential among Indian travelers. “TAFI prioritizes lesser-known destinations with strong growth prospects, and this aligns perfectly with our philosophy,” he added.
To ensure a seamless experience, TAFI will provide airport transfers between Hanoi and Ninh Binh for registered attendees. Registrations will be capped at 450 participants, with a cutoff of 400 delegates to ensure smooth coordination.
Prakash also confirmed that members of the media would be part of this landmark event, designed to showcase Vietnam’s tourism potential and promote sustainable travel practices.
