
The Travel Agents Federation of India (TAFI) Western India Chapter successfully conducted its Annual General Meeting (AGM) and elections on 26th June 2025 at the prestigious Bombay Presidency Golf Club. The well-attended event marked a significant moment for the regional travel trade community, reflecting strong member engagement and a renewed focus on collaborative growth and innovation in the tourism sector.
The newly elected leadership team for the 2025–2027 term was officially announced at the AGM. Jay Kantawala of WIYO Travel has been appointed Chairman, with Arun Iyer of Maa Air Ticket Centre Pvt. Ltd. taking on the role of Secretary, and Satbir Singh Narula of Pyramid Tours & Allied Services Pvt. Ltd. named as Treasurer. Kalpana Sawlani of Bambino Travels Pvt. Ltd. and Manish Mayani of Padmaja Travels Pvt. Ltd. have been elected as Committee Members.
This dynamic team brings together seasoned professionals from across the travel industry, each contributing unique perspectives and expertise. Their collective vision aims to strengthen the travel fraternity in Western India through enhanced member engagement, professional development, and advocacy for sustainable tourism practices.
