
The Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has signed a new Taj-branded hotel in Naina Tikker, Sirmaur district, Himachal Pradesh, signaling the luxury chain’s entry into one of the state’s lesser-known gems. Developed in partnership with Micro Turners Group, the upcoming Taj Naina Tikker will feature 120 rooms and panoramic views of the Dhauladhar mountain range, catering to leisure travelers, wellness seekers, and large events.
Guests can anticipate a comprehensive suite of amenities, including:
An all-day dining restaurant, specialty restaurant, bar, and lobby lounge.
Extensive event spaces, including a 4,000 sq. ft. banquet hall, meeting rooms, and pre-function areas.
Wellness facilities such as a heated pool, health club, spa, gym, and activity centre.
According to Suma Venkatesh, Executive Vice President – Real Estate & Development, IHCL, “Naina Tikker represents a unique opportunity for the Taj brand to mark its presence in a relatively unexplored part of Himachal Pradesh…poised to become a sought-after destination for leisure, MICE, and social celebrations.”
This latest signing brings IHCL’s footprint in Himachal Pradesh to 13 hotels, with 8 currently under development, reinforcing its commitment to expanding luxury hospitality and unlocking new tourism potential in the region.
