The Astor Goa appoints Divyanshi Patel as Executive Chef

The Astor Goa, all suites luxury boutique hotel has announced the appointment of Divyanshi Patel as its new Executive Chef. With an impressive culinary background and a passion for innovation, Patel is set to elevate the dining experience at The Astor Goa to new heights.

She brings over 8 years of culinary expertise to her role, starting from her humble beginnings as a line cook to her current position as an accomplished Executive Chef. Patel holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Culinary Arts from the Institute of Hotel Management, Aurangabad, and the University of Huddersfield (United Kingdom), where she graduated with honours and earned recognition from Asia Pacific Marriott International.   

Her culinary journey includes diverse experiences such as being a Research and Development Chef at a cocktail company in Bangalore, Chef de Partie at Le Méridien Mahabaleshwar Resort & Spa – Marriott, Chef de Partie at Hilton St. Julians in Malta, and Commis at two Michelin-starred restaurants in Spain.

Patel’s expertise extends across various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures, ensuring the highest quality of food for The Astor Goa’s guests. Known for her organizational skills, efficiency in work areas, and commitment to precision, she has received accolades for her understanding of guests’ dietary needs.

Passionate about the ethnic regional cuisine of India and dedicated to curating new recipes, Patel has consistently introduced innovative culinary concepts and signature dishes throughout her career, setting new industry standards. Her belief that the success of food lies in its ability to suit guest preferences and palates aligns perfectly with The Astor Goa’s commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences.

When Patel is not innovating a new dish she spends her time practicing kickboxing and yoga.
