Thomas Cook India, SOTC sign MoU with Mauritius Tourism Promotion Authority

Thomas Cook (India) Limited and its group company SOTC Travel have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Mauritius Tourism Promotion Authority (MTPA) to strengthen travel demand to Mauritius from the Indian market.
The MoU aims to enhance Mauritius’ visibility in India and drive visitation across leisure, honeymoon, family, MICE and corporate travel segments. The agreement was signed by Rajeev Kale, President & Country Head, Thomas Cook (India) Limited, S D Nandakumar, President & Country Head – Holidays and Corporate Tours, SOTC Travel Limited, and Benoît Harter, Director, MTPA, in the presence of Dinesh Burrenchobay, Chairman, MTPA.
The collaboration will focus on destination education, product development and marketing communications to position Mauritius across India’s metro, mini-metro and Tier 2 and Tier 3 markets.
Mauritius is a visa-free destination for Indian travellers and is witnessing growing demand across leisure and MICE travel, supported by premium and value-driven resorts, convention facilities and strong air connectivity.
