Thomas Cook India Strengthens Forex Presence in Bengaluru with New Sahakara Nagar Outlet

Thomas Cook (India) Limited has expanded its foreign exchange network in Bengaluru by launching a new outlet in Sahakara Nagar. With this addition, the company now operates nine forex outlets in Bengaluru and a total of twelve across Karnataka.

Strategically located near Kempegowda International Airport, the Sahakara Nagar outlet aims to serve a wide demographic including students, families, professionals, and business travelers. It also caters to surrounding areas such as Hebbal, Jakkuru, R.K. Hegde Nagar, Yelahanka, and airport-bound customers.

To mark the launch, Thomas Cook is offering zero charges on overseas remittances, a free international SIM card, and an INR 500 Uber voucher with prepaid forex card purchases.

The outlet offers a wide range of forex solutions, including: Prepaid travel cards like the Borderless Travel Card (12 currencies), eco-friendly FX Enterprise Card, Study Buddy Card for students, and the One Currency Card with zero cross-currency conversion fees. Digital services like the Forex App, online forex booking, Forex on WhatsApp (24×7), and video KYC. Overseas education services such as university fee remittance, discounted airfares, excess baggage options, insurance, and currency exchange.

Customers can access 26 global currencies and remit money to over 120 countries under the “Send Money Abroad” service.

Deepesh Varma, Executive Vice President – Foreign Exchange, highlighted Bengaluru as a key growth market. He emphasized that the new outlet is designed as a comprehensive forex hub with doorstep delivery and digital solutions to enhance customer experience.

Thomas Cook India currently serves over 1 million prepaid forex card users, 1,000+ corporate clients, and more than 100,000 overseas students. The company also operates 23 airport counters across India, Sri Lanka, and Mauritius.
