Tourism New Zealand has appointed Tishtar Parakh as its new Country Manager for India, strengthening its focus on one of its key growth markets.
Parakh joins from VisitBritain’s Mumbai office, where she served as Trade Manager, bringing significant experience in destination marketing and travel trade engagement.
Based in Mumbai, she will lead efforts to drive inbound tourism to New Zealand while deepening relationships with India’s B2B travel trade. Her role will focus on enhancing destination visibility, expanding consumer outreach, and building stronger trade partnerships across both leisure and MICE segments.
The appointment reflects Tourism New Zealand’s continued commitment to scaling its presence in India and tapping into the country’s growing outbound travel potential.
