The Travel Agents Association of India (TAAI) marked a historic milestone on January 25, 2025, by launching its “75 Years of TAAI” celebrations at The Ashok Hotel, New Delhi. The grand event, graced by Tourism Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, included the unveiling of the official logo commemorating the association’s 75th anniversary.
Founded in 1951, TAAI has been a pioneering force in India’s travel, tourism, and hospitality industry, serving as a vital link between the government and industry stakeholders. Over the decades, the association has played a critical role in shaping policies, fostering industry growth, and promoting India as a global tourism destination.
The current Managing Committee (2024-2026) intends to push the celebrations through a year-long campaign aimed at enhancing TAAI’s industrial and community links. The official logo launch kicked off a series of activities that will emphasise TAAI’s past and dedication to the future of travel and tourism in India.
The commemoration of “75 Years of TAAI” aims to strengthen industry relationships and highlight India’s tourism potential on a worldwide scale, reinforcing TAAI’s role as the travel industry’s nodal body.
This historic event not only commemorates TAAI’s extraordinary journey, but also paves the way for future growth and innovation in India’s tourism and hospitality industries.
