Treebo Hospitality Ventures Signs Mercure Haridwar SIDCUL Hotel Under Accor–InterGlobe Franchise Expansion

Under its master franchise agreement with Accor and InterGlobe, Treebo Hospitality Ventures (THV) has secured a new Mercure hotel in Haridwar’s SIDCUL industrial region, bringing Accor’s well-known midscale Mercure brand to one of the major commercial and spiritual centers of North India. The initiative intends to address the growing demand for structured, branded lodging in this rapidly expanding region.

Ranju Alex, CEO, Accor South Asia, expressed delight about introducing Mercure to Haridwar, adding that SIDCUL’s tremendous commercial potential and Mercure’s focus on locally inspired, midscale hospitality made it a great market match. Sidharth Gupta, Co-founder & CEO of THV, noted that Haridwar’s unique blend of spirituality and industry has produced increased demand for dependable mid-market hotels, and the Mercure brand—combined with Treebo’s operational efficiency—will enhance the guest experience.

The planned resort will feature 72 well-appointed rooms, modern facilities, a multi-cuisine restaurant and event spaces perfect for social gatherings, corporate meetings and MICE requirements. The hotel is anticipated to accommodate business travelers from industries including pharmaceuticals, FMCG, and engineering as well as tourists traveling for Haridwar’s spiritual significance, given SIDCUL’s emergence as a significant industrial hub.

THV is still building midscale hotels in high-potential Indian markets under the Accor-InterGlobe franchise agreement. This common dedication to providing effective operations, global standards, and locally based hospitality is seen in the signing of Mercure Haridwar SIDCUL. According to asset owner Avinash Kumar Rai, SIDCUL’s quick expansion offers a lot of prospects, and collaborating with THV and Accor will assist local tourism and business travel while bringing top-notch hospitality to Haridwar.
