Turkish Airlines Reports $2.4 Billion Profit in 2024, Announces $260 Million Dividend

Turkish Airlines recorded a Profit from Main Operations of $2.4 billion in 2024, overcoming global economic challenges and aircraft production delays. The airline’s total revenue grew by 8.2% year-on-year to $22.7 billion, with passenger revenue rising by 4% and cargo revenue surging 35%. As part of its commitment to investors, Turkish Airlines announced a cash dividend of $260 million and continued its share buyback program.

The airline strengthened Türkiye’s global aviation position, with Turkish Cargo becoming the world’s third-largest air cargo carrier. EBITDAR reached $5.7 billion, highlighting strong cash generation. Expanding its network, Turkish Airlines added Melbourne, Sydney, and Santiago, bringing its destinations to 299 across 131 countries. The airline was recognized as the “Best Airline in Europe” by Skytrax for the ninth time and achieved the Guinness World Record for “Most Countries Flown to by an Airline.”

With a goal to expand its fleet to over 800 aircraft by 2033, Turkish Airlines increased its fleet by 12% to 492 in 2024, securing $1.8 billion in diversified aircraft financing. Employing over 95,000 people, the airline continues to drive sustainable growth in global aviation while advancing Türkiye’s economic development.
