Turkish Airlines, renowned for flying to more countries than any other airline, brought the excitement of the Turkish Airlines World Golf Cup to Mumbai’s Willingdon Sports Club on November 8. The event attracted prominent local figures and business community members, adding to the global prestige of the tournament. Since its launch in 2013, the Turkish Airlines World Golf Cup has connected over 8,000 players worldwide, hosting over 109 tournaments across 67 countries.
The Mumbai event marked the 108th tournament in this year’s series, with the winners advancing to the Grand Finals in Türkiye, where they will enjoy a luxurious stay and play at the Gloria Serenity Resort and Gloria Golf Club on Türkiye’s scenic Golf Coast.
Representing Mumbai, Muneesh Sup emerged victorious with 45 points, securing the champion spot, while Rahul Vani and Vijay Kumar claimed second and third places respectively. Rajiv Gaur and Bharati Purker won the Closest to the Pin competition for men and women, while Aditya Pusalkar scored the tournament’s lowest gross score with an impressive 66.
