
Initiative in partnership with Kazin DMC and JW Marriott Tashkent aims to showcase Uzbekistan’s growing tourism potential.
Uzbekistan Airways has announced an exclusive Familiarization (FAM) Trip for Indian travel professionals from May 22 to 27, 2026, in collaboration with Kazin DMC and JW Marriott Tashkent.
The initiative is designed to introduce Indian travel trade partners to Uzbekistan’s evolving tourism landscape, highlighting the destination’s blend of heritage, culture, luxury hospitality and experiential travel offerings.
Participants will visit some of Uzbekistan’s most iconic destinations, including Samarkand and Bukhara, both globally recognised for their historical and cultural significance.
The curated itinerary will feature immersive local experiences, destination showcases and hospitality interactions aimed at helping Indian travel professionals better understand and promote Uzbekistan in the Indian market.
Established in 1992, Uzbekistan Airways currently operates flights to more than 100 international destinations and continues to strengthen connectivity with India through direct services linking Tashkent with Delhi and Mumbai.
The airline operates a modern fleet, including the Boeing 787 Dreamliner, and is positioning Uzbekistan as an emerging destination for leisure and experiential tourism.
Commenting on the initiative, Deputy Chairman for Commercial Shukhrat Yadgarov said the airline remains committed to strengthening its presence in India while showcasing Uzbekistan as a dynamic and accessible destination supported by expanding connectivity and service excellence.
