Ventive Hospitality Expands Strategic Partnership with Marriott International, Adds 1,548 Rooms Across 7 Hotels in India and Sri Lanka

Ventive Hospitality Limited, along with its Promoter Group Companies, has announced a significant expansion of its strategic alliance with Marriott International, signing management agreements for seven premium hotels totaling 1,548 rooms across key locations in India and Sri Lanka. This landmark partnership is set to boost the luxury, upper-upscale, and upscale hospitality segments and marks the debut of several Marriott brands in new markets, including Varanasi, Mundra, Navi Mumbai, Pune, and Sri Lanka.

Of the seven hotels, three are being developed directly by Ventive Hospitality and its subsidiaries. These include the Ritz-Carlton Reserve in Pottuvil near Yala East National Park, Sri Lanka, featuring 73 villas and 80 branded residences; the Varanasi Marriott Hotel with 161 rooms; and a 200-room Courtyard by Marriott in Mundra, Gujarat. Additionally, Ventive announced plans to develop a hotel on its existing leasehold land in Mundra.

The remaining four hotels JW Marriott Navi Mumbai (450 rooms), Moxy Navi Mumbai (200 rooms), Moxy Pune Wakad (264 rooms), and Moxy Pune Kharadi (200 rooms) are being developed by Promoter Group companies. These properties will be transferred to Ventive Hospitality through suitable arrangements that aim to optimize stakeholder value.

This expanded partnership stands as one of the largest of its kind in the region’s luxury hospitality space, combining Ventive Hospitality’s strong project execution capabilities with Marriott International’s global brand equity and operational expertise. The collaboration is expected to unlock vast growth opportunities by tapping into India’s dynamic and evolving travel and tourism landscape.

The announcement was made in the presence of senior leadership, including Atul Chordia, Chairman and Executive Director of Ventive Hospitality Ltd; Rajeev Menon, President, Asia Pacific (excluding China), Marriott International; Ranju Alex, Regional Vice President, South Asia, Marriott International; Ranjit Batra, CEO of Ventive Hospitality Ltd; and other top executives from both Ventive Hospitality and Marriott.
