In a collaborative effort to enhance the visa application experience for Indian travellers, VFS Global and the Travel Agents Association of India (TAAI) successfully conducted a Visa Insights Workshop titled Consultant-to-Officer Dialogues in Hyderabad on 17 May 2025. The session brought together 40 travel agents from the Telangana and Andhra Pradesh chapters of TAAI and over 25 frontline staff from the VFS Global Visa Application Centre.
The interactive workshop aimed to foster direct communication between travel consultants and VFS Global representatives, offering transparency and mutual understanding of the end-to-end visa facilitation process. Discussions focused on best operational practices, visa document requirements, timelines, and common challenges faced by travel agents during application assistance. The session also explored solutions to streamline the experience for Indian travellers.
TAAI President Sunil Kumar hailed the initiative as a significant step in empowering travel professionals with critical visa insights and praised the collaboration with VFS Global for fostering industry learning and efficiency. The workshop was part of VFS Global’s broader agent outreach programme, following its recent six-city roadshow supported by the travel fraternity.
