VFS Global has introduced a user-friendly online platform to simplify the application process for Indonesia’s Electronic Visa on Arrival (e-VoA), supporting the country’s goal to welcome 14 million visitors by 2025. The platform, available to nationals of 97 eligible countries, including India, allows travelers to complete the visa application process entirely online and receive pre-approved e-VoAs before departure.
The process involves four simple steps: visiting the dedicated portal (https://indonesiavoa.vfsevisa.id/), submitting required documents, paying fees, and receiving the e-VoA via email. Once the payment is made, travelers can enjoy expedited entry through E-gates or immigration counters.

The platform employs OCR technology to auto-populate applicant details, reducing errors and saving time. It also offers a group booking feature, catering to travel agents, tour operators, and conventions. Live support is available in seven languages—English, Mandarin, Japanese, Korean, Arabic, German, and French—with plans to expand language options further.
To promote Indonesia as a top travel destination, VFS Global has established Indonesia tourism kiosks in Dubai, Mumbai, and Shanghai, with another planned for Australia. These efforts aim to boost tourism in key markets such as India, China, Australia, Korea, Japan, and the Middle East, ensuring a seamless and welcoming experience for global travelers.
