Vietjet is set to enhance travel between India and Vietnam with the launch of two new direct routes linking Hyderabad and Bangalore to Ho Chi Minh City. These services will commence on March 18 and 19, 2025, respectively, solidifying Vietjet’s position as a key player in the India-Vietnam aviation market and fostering greater connectivity across Asia.
To celebrate the new routes, Vietjet is offering special promotional fares starting at just INR 11 (excluding taxes and fees) on all India-Vietnam routes. This offer is available for booking until January 30, 2025, for travel between February 10 and September 30, 2025. Additionally, the airline provides up to 20% off Business and SkyBoss tickets on the 20th of each month for travel from March 1 to May 29, 2025. Tickets can be booked through Vietjet’s website or mobile app.
Vietnam’s cultural richness, affordability, and proximity have made it a top destination for Indian travelers, with visitor numbers reaching 501,000 in 2024, a 3.6-fold increase from 2022. India now ranks as the sixth-largest international market for Vietnam, moving up two positions from 2023.
With these new services, Vietjet’s India-Vietnam network expands to 10 routes, offering 78 weekly flights connecting major Indian cities such as New Delhi, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Kochi, Hyderabad, and Bangalore to Vietnam’s key destinations, including Hanoi, Da Nang, and Ho Chi Minh City. Indian travelers can also transit seamlessly through Vietnam to popular regional destinations like Bali, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, and major cities in Australia, ensuring affordable and convenient travel options.
