Vietjet, Vietnam’s leading new-age airline, has announced the launch of four new non-stop routes connecting Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City to Beijing and Guangzhou in China. This move marks a significant step in the airline’s ongoing international expansion in 2025, complementing other new services to destinations including India, Japan, and Singapore. The new routes further strengthen Vietjet’s commitment to enhancing global connectivity and providing travelers with more affordable travel options.
The new services include daily flights from Ho Chi Minh City to Beijing and Guangzhou, as well as from Hanoi to Guangzhou. The Hanoi-Beijing route will initially operate three times a week before becoming a daily service starting April 27, 2025. In addition, Vietjet will launch a new daily Hanoi-Shanghai service on April 29, 2025, expanding its presence in China and offering more travel choices for passengers.
As part of this exciting expansion, Vietjet is offering a limited-time promotion with Eco-class fares starting at just INR 11 plus taxes and fees across all routes. This special offer, available until April 5, 2025, applies to flights scheduled between April 15, 2025, and March 28, 2026 (excluding public holidays). Travelers can book tickets through Vietjet’s official website or mobile app.
Vietjet Vice Chairwoman Nguyen Thanh Ha expressed enthusiasm about the new routes, stating, “We are thrilled to launch four new routes connecting Vietnam to Beijing and Guangzhou, reinforcing our strategy to expand our flight network. These new services will enhance travel options for both local and international travelers, further boosting connectivity across Asia.”
The expansion into China is part of Vietjet’s broader international growth in 2025. The airline has already started direct flights from Hyderabad and Bengaluru to Ho Chi Minh City, further strengthening its presence in India. In addition, new services from Ho Chi Minh City to Nagoya and Fukuoka in Japan will launch in late April, followed by a new route from Phu Quoc, Vietnam’s largest island, to Singapore in late May.
Since its launch of the New Delhi-Ho Chi Minh City route in 2019, Vietjet has been a pioneer in expanding air travel links between India and Vietnam, operating over 8,300 flights and transporting nearly 1.62 million passengers. The airline’s growing flight network now connects major Indian cities like New Delhi, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Kochi, Hyderabad, and Bengaluru to key Vietnamese hubs, including Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Da Nang. Indian travelers can also enjoy Vietjet’s connections to popular international destinations such as Bali, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, and major cities in Australia and Northeast Asia.
With these exciting new routes and promotions, Vietjet continues to offer affordable and convenient travel options to more destinations, making international travel more accessible for passengers across Asia and beyond.
