The airline posted aviation revenue of VND17.681 trillion (approx. US$673.9 million) and a pre-tax profit of VND775 billion (approx. US$29.57 million), marking a 52.3% year-on-year increase. Vietjet now operates 10 direct routes connecting Delhi, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Kochi, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad to Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Da Nang. In Q2 alone, the airline carried 17.7 million passengers across 99,202 flights, including new services to China, Japan, Singapore, and Russia.

Significant fleet expansion marked the quarter, with Vietjet ordering 20 A330neo widebodies—raising its total to 40—and signing the Paris Air Show’s largest deal for 100 A321neo aircraft and 50 purchase options. The airline also extended ground handling services at major Vietnamese airports and secured approval to develop aircraft maintenance facilities at Long Thanh International Airport.

With total assets exceeding US$4.28 billion and cash reserves over US$343 million, Vietjet maintains strong financial health and operational reliability. Named the “World’s Best Ultra Low-Cost Carrier” by AirlineRatings, Vietjet is well-positioned for continued regional leadership in affordable air travel, especially across the high-growth India-Vietnam corridor.
