Vineet Arora has been named the new Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Antara Cruises, a prominent brand in the upscale river cruise sector in India. Arora has more than 22 years of extensive experience in the hospitality industry, and his return to Antara Cruises is a calculated decision to boost the business’s expansion and innovation in river cruise travel.
As a former vice president of Antara Cruises, Arora played a key role in spearheading the creation of the longest river cruise in history, a historic undertaking that increased the brand’s international renown. His direction was crucial in establishing Antara as a leader in the high-end cruise market. Arora demonstrated his capacity to expand enterprises from the ground up while striking a balance between operational excellence and strategic foresight by successfully building a hotel company that operated 25 properties around India prior to his return.
Antara Cruises’ founder and chairman, Raj Singh of Heritage River Journeys Pvt Ltd., enthusiastically greeted the appointment. “Vineet is the best person to lead Antara Cruises into the future because of his extensive knowledge of hospitality and cruise operations as well as his innovative style.
