Visakhapatnam Gears Up to Host ADTOI National Tourism Mart on 13–14 February 2026

Visakhapatnam is set to host one of India’s most significant domestic tourism industry events this weekend as the Association of Domestic Tour Operators of India (ADTOI), in collaboration with the Government of Andhra Pradesh and Andhra Pradesh Tourism Department, convenes the ADTOI National Tourism Mart 2025 on 13 and 14 February 2026.

Rescheduled from its original 2025 dates to ensure broader participation and operational readiness, the two-day mart will be held against the backdrop of Visakhapatnam’s strategic coastal setting and rapidly expanding tourism infrastructure.

The event is being positioned as a key B2B congregation for India’s domestic tourism trade, bringing together leading tour operators, travel professionals, destination promoters, hoteliers, and allied stakeholders from across the country. It will serve as a formal platform for business networking, destination showcasing, and strategic partnerships aimed at strengthening the domestic travel ecosystem.

Key components of the Mart include:

Business-to-Business Meetings: Structured one-to-one sessions between operators and destination stakeholders to foster long-term collaborations.

Destination Presentations: Feature segments highlighting Andhra Pradesh’s tourism offerings — from coastal experiences and spiritual circuits to heritage sites, eco-adventure trails, tribal tourism, and rural experiential products.

Panel Discussions: Sector experts will deliberate on market trends, future growth opportunities, sustainability frameworks, and innovations in domestic tourism.

Familiarisation Tours: Curated site visits around Visakhapatnam and nearby destinations to provide firsthand experience of key tourism products.

Speaking to Travel World Online, Convention Chairman K. Vijaya Mohan said the Mart aims to position Visakhapatnam as a strong domestic tourism hub while creating tangible business opportunities for stakeholders across India.

“We are expecting active participation from domestic tour operators, hospitality partners, and state tourism representatives. The objective is not just networking, but generating real business leads and strengthening Andhra Pradesh’s visibility in the domestic tourism circuit,” he said.

Officials expect the Mart to generate business linkages that translate into increased tourist arrivals, enhanced visibility for lesser-known destinations, and strengthened tourism-led economic opportunities for local communities.

With its strong connectivity, scenic coastline, and growing ecosystem of heritage and adventure products, Visakhapatnam is expected to leverage this Mart to reinforce its credentials as a preferred destination investment and tourism hub.
