Yas Waterworld Yas Island, Abu Dhabi is set to make waves this summer with the launch of its much-awaited expansion on July 1. Developed by Miral, the 13,445 sqm extension introduces a thrilling new “Lost City” theme—building on the park’s signature story, ‘The Legend of the Lost Pearl’—and adds more than 20 fresh rides, slides, and splash-filled attractions for all ages.
With this expansion, the waterpark now boasts over 60 rides and experiences, making it one of the most action-packed aquatic destinations in the region.
Dr. Mohamed Abdalla Al Zaabi, Group CEO of Miral, said the new phase reflects the company’s drive to innovate: “This expansion marks a major milestone in our journey to offer world-class entertainment experiences and supports Abu Dhabi’s vision of becoming a global tourism hub.”
Highlights of the new offerings include the region’s first dueling tube raft race Al Falaj Race, kid-friendly adventures like Al Mafras and Dawwama Junior, and heart-pounding thrills such as Bahamut’s Rage and Sadaf Swirl. Families can also enjoy the interactive Bandit’s Playground within the all-new Bandit’s Village.
