Moscow Highlights Tourism Potential at OTM 2025 in Mumbai

Moscow is set to make a grand impression at the OTM International Tourism Exhibition in Mumbai from January 30 to February 1, 2025. Over three days, the Russian capital will showcase its finest offerings in cultural, leisure, and business tourism, engaging Indian travel enthusiasts and industry stakeholders.The Moscow stand will host over 500 business meetings, facilitating collaboration between Moscow’s tourism representatives and Indian counterparts. Key projects to be highlighted include the Moscow Tea Time Project, which revives the city’s tea traditions, the Moscow Estates Festival—a cultural event attracting over 100,000 visitors annually, the Moscow Gastronomy Project, the City of Discoveries educational initiative, and the RUSSPASS travel planning service.A major highlight is the Moscow+ Project, which promotes cross-regional tourism in partnership with the Tyumen region’s Visit Tyumen initiative. Moscow will also exhibit its export potential through partnerships with Russia’s Ministry of Economic Development and other organizations, showcasing Discover Russia and Made in Moscow brands.Visitors can explore Moscow’s iconic attractions, including the VDNH Complex, blending Soviet-era architecture with interactive museums, and Moskino Cinema Park, which is drawing interest from the Indian film industry as a potential filming destination. Additionally, leading tour operators such as Headed Goose, Tari Tour, Volshebny Tour, FUN & SUN, INTOURIST, and Academservice, alongside hotels like Swissôtel Krasnye Holmy, VEGA Hotel & Convention Center, and Izmailovo Hotel Complex, will present curated travel services for Indian tourists.Ahead of the exhibition, on January 28, the Moscow Business Mission will bring together prominent Moscow tourism stakeholders and 80 Indian tour operators for networking and collaboration.
