Bengaluru Airport Issues Advisory on Flight Disruptions Due to Aero India 2025

Bengaluru’s Kempegowda International Airport (BLR) has issued an advisory for passengers regarding potential flight disruptions due to Aero India 2025, Asia’s largest aerospace and defence exhibition, scheduled to take place from February 10 to 14, 2025, at the Air Force Station, Yelahanka. With airspace restrictions in place from February 5 to 14, travelers are advised to stay updated on revised flight schedules and plan their journeys accordingly.

The airport emphasized the importance of checking with airlines for updates, stating on X: “Passengers travelling through BLR Airport are advised to stay updated on revised airspace closure timings and flight schedules as notified by the respective airline. Kindly plan your travel time to and from the airport accordingly.”

Aero India 2025: Key Highlights

The 15th edition of Aero India will focus on global aerospace partnerships, defence indigenisation, and advanced military technology. Themed “The Runway to a Billion Opportunities,” the event will showcase India’s growing role in the global defence sector.

The event will be held in two phases:

  • February 10-12: Business meetings and industry collaborations with international defence companies.
  • February 13-14: Open for public viewing, featuring air displays and exhibitions of cutting-edge military technology.

Major highlights include the Defence Ministers’ Conclave, themed “BRIDGE—Building Resilience through International Defence and Global Engagement”, a CEOs’ Round Table with global aerospace leaders, and an India Pavilion showcasing Make-in-India innovations and indigenous defence advancements.

With Aero India 2025 attracting top global defence manufacturers and investors, Bengaluru Airport urges travelers to stay informed about flight rescheduling and airspace restrictions to avoid disruptions during the high-profile event.
