Global travel tech company Sabre Corporation has rolled out British Airways’ New Distribution Capability (NDC) content on its platform, making it easier for travel agencies around the world to access and book these offers. Starting March 19, agencies using Sabre can now shop, book, and manage British Airways’ NDC options alongside traditional booking methods, simplifying their work and boosting efficiency.
By integrating NDC content through tools like Sabre Red 360, Sabre Red Launchpad, and Sabre’s Offer and Order APIs, travel agencies can handle British Airways’ flexible offers with more ease. Sabre’s approach ensures that NDC content works smoothly with existing booking systems, helping travel sellers offer more personalized and competitive options to their customers.
Right now, thousands of travel agencies in over 150 countries are already using Sabre’s NDC features to access modern airline content. Adding British Airways’ NDC content gives them even more tools to create customized travel solutions.
Colm Lacy, British Airways’ Chief Commercial Officer, said the airline is focused on a digital-first approach. “We’re excited to make our exclusive NDC content available through Sabre’s technology. This gives agencies more ways to search, book, and manage our offers while delivering a personalized experience for customers worldwide,” he explained.
Kathy Morgan, Sabre Travel Solutions’ Senior Vice President for Distribution Experience, emphasized Sabre’s role in modernizing travel retail. “Our partnership with British Airways supports our mission to create a dynamic travel marketplace where agencies have access to the best and most comprehensive content,” she said.
As the travel industry continues to evolve, Sabre is leading the charge in adopting NDC technology. Their advanced solutions help travel agencies stay competitive and meet the growing demand for digital-first travel experiences.
