ADTOI Condemns Pahalgam Terror Attack, Urges Boycott of Nations Supporting Anti-India Forces

The Association of Domestic Tour Operators of India (ADTOI) has expressed deep sorrow and unwavering solidarity with the nation following the recent terror attack in Pahalgam, which targeted innocent civilians and tourists. Condemning the brutal act as a direct assault on India’s sovereignty and unity, ADTOI reaffirmed its full support to the Armed Forces, the Government of India, and the resilient communities in Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Punjab, Chandigarh, and Gujarat.

In a strongly worded statement, ADTOI urged the Government of India to take decisive action and issue strict travel advisories against countries like Turkey and Azerbaijan, citing their geopolitical alignments with anti-India elements. The association called on Indian travellers and the domestic travel trade to immediately cease promotion of tourism to nations that fail to support India’s stance against terrorism.

Emphasizing that domestic tourism is vital to national unity, ADTOI highlighted that patriotism must take precedence over commercial interests. “We stand united — not just in grief but in strength and resolve. India will not bow to terror, and we call upon the travel fraternity to act with national interest at heart,” the association stated.

ADTOI concluded by pledging continued support for national security and urging all Indians to prioritize the safety, sovereignty, and dignity of the country above all else.
