As travel surges post-pandemic amidst growing global uncertainties, ATOAI’s initiative reflects its unwavering commitment to building a safer, more resilient travel ecosystem. ATOAI President Mr. Ajeet Bajaj opened the discussion by emphasizing the role of insurance in responsible tourism. Supporting this view, Mr. Arun Srivastava, Joint Director General at the Ministry of Tourism, underlined the government’s backing for making travel insurance a standard best practice across the industry.

Offering clarity on common doubts, Mr. Devesh Srivastava, Former Chairman and MD of the General Insurance Corporation of India, demystified the concepts of insurance and its critical value for tour operators and tourists. Meanwhile, Mr. Dev Karvat, Founder and CEO of Asego Travel Insurance, introduced cutting-edge, tech-driven insurance products tailored to meet the dynamic needs of today’s travelers, aiming to make insurance a seamless part of the travel booking process.
