Reinforcing its status as India’s premier wedding hotspot, Goa has been honored with the title of ‘Best Destination for Resort Weddings’ at the Wed In India 2025 Awards, held recently at the Taj Palace, New Delhi. The prestigious award was received by Shri Sanjeev Ahuja, IAS, Secretary (Tourism), Government of Goa, on behalf of the state.

The award recognizes Goa’s consistent performance in offering world-class experiences that seamlessly blend natural beauty with hospitality excellence.
Hon’ble Tourism Minister Shri Rohan A. Khaunte expressed his pride in the achievement, stating, “Our unique blend of luxury, culture, and natural beauty continues to inspire couples to choose Goa for their special celebrations.
