Chhattisgarh Tourism Gains Momentum with Governor’s Support

In a boost to Chhattisgarh’s tourism initiatives, Hon’ble Governor Shri Ramen Deka extended his support during a meeting with Mr. Vivek Acharya (IFS), Managing Director of Chhattisgarh Tourism Board and Director of the Department of Culture & Archaeology, at Raj Bhavan today.

Mr. Acharya briefed the Governor on ongoing efforts to position Chhattisgarh as a rising tourism hub, highlighting unexplored destinations, heritage sites, and cultural attractions through specially curated publications. Appreciating these initiatives, Governor Deka stressed the importance of sustainable tourism practices, community participation, improved infrastructure, and better connectivity to unlock the state’s potential in eco-tourism and cultural tourism.

Tourism officials believe the Governor’s encouragement will bring renewed momentum to the board’s promotional campaigns and foster new partnerships, helping showcase Chhattisgarh as a unique destination for domestic and international travelers.
