Kerala Institute for Tourism and Travel Studies (KITTS) has been recognised by FICCI for excellence in employment creation and entrepreneurship under the Higher Education Excellence Awards.
The award, received by Director Dr Dileep MR from Union Minister Shri Nitin Gadkari, celebrates KITTS’ achievements in skill development and human resource excellence in the tourism sector. Tourism Minister Shri PA Mohamed Riyas said the accolade reflects Kerala Tourism’s commitment to building a highly skilled workforce, while the process of elevating KITTS to a Centre of Excellence is in its final stages.
KITTS’ focus on entrepreneurship training, tour guide programs, and adventure tourism courses has positioned it as a pioneering hub for tourism skill development and employment generation.
