Andhra Pradesh Showcases Tourism Excellence at WTM 2025 in London

Andhra Pradesh made a remarkable presence at the World Travel Market (WTM) 2025 in London, positioning itself as one of India’s most promising tourism destinations on the global stage.

Kandula Durgesh, Minister for Tourism, Government of Andhra Pradesh, said,

“It was my privilege and pleasure to participate in WTM 2025 and proudly showcase the tourism excellence of Andhra Pradesh on a prestigious global platform.”

Alongside Tourism Ministers from various Indian States, he jointly inaugurated the India Pavilion set up by the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India. Later, he inaugurated the Andhra Pradesh Tourism Stall with a graceful Kuchipudi dance performance, a captivating reflection of the state’s rich cultural and artistic heritage.

Accompanying the Minister was Ajay Jain, IAS, Additional Chief Secretary (Tourism), Government of Andhra Pradesh, who joined high-level discussions with global industry leaders, investors, and travel media representatives. Together, they presented the AP Tourism Policy 2024–29, highlighting the state’s diverse investment avenues and sustainable development vision.

During the event, the delegation held one-on-one meetings with over 20 international tour operators, hotel chains, MICE investors, global travel media, bloggers, and leading travel magazine publishers. They promoted Andhra Pradesh’s mesmerizing coastlines, spiritual circuits, heritage sites, and vibrant art forms, assuring full government support for investors looking to collaborate in tourism infrastructure and experience-based projects.

“We are committed to positioning Andhra Pradesh proudly on the global tourism map while creating new avenues of employment and economic growth for our people,” the Minister emphasized.

Andhra Pradesh’s participation at WTM 2025 reaffirmed its vision to become a premier global tourism hub, driven by innovation, investment, and inclusive development.
