Vietjet, Vietnam’s new-age carrier, will commence its direct services to Con Dao from December 3, 2025, allowing Indian tourists simpler and more economical access to one of Vietnam’s most spectacular island locations. The airline will fly one daily round-trip flight from both Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, two major Southeast Asian hubs, with intentions to expand the frequency to two round-trip flights daily on each route starting December 15, 2025, to satisfy the peak year-end travel demand.
Vietjet has announced special promotional pricing for one-way tickets on both routes starting at VND 490,000 (about INR 1,658, minus taxes and fees) in celebration of the relaunch. Travellers can book these fares via the official website, the Vietjet Air mobile app, and through approved agents or ticket offices globally.
As India and Vietnam continue to build economic and cultural relations, Vietjet has considerably expanded its network for Indian tourists. The airline currently provides direct flights from New Delhi, Mumbai, Kochi, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad to Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Da Nang, enabling seamless connectivity for tourism, business and leisure.
In addition to strengthening Vietjet’s domestic network, the restart of Con Dao services offers foreign tourists including those from India more chances to discover Vietnam’s rich natural beauty, historical sites, and island attractions.
