
Thomas Cook (India) Limited and its group company SOTC Travel have signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Cinnamon Life at City of Dreams Sri Lanka to drive travel demand from the Indian market.
The MoU was signed by Rajeev Kale, President & Country Head – Holidays, MICE and Visa, Thomas Cook (India); S.D. Nandakumar, President & Country Head – Holidays & Corporate Tours, SOTC Travel; and Hishan Singhawansa, CEO, Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts.

The partnership aims to increase visitation from India through joint product development, trade education, integrated marketing initiatives and consumer activations. The collaboration will focus on leveraging Thomas Cook India and SOTC’s strength across leisure, MICE, business and bleisure travel segments.
Cinnamon Life at City of Dreams Sri Lanka, positioned as South Asia’s largest integrated resort, offers accommodation, dining, retail, entertainment, wellness and large-scale event infrastructure, strengthening Sri Lanka’s appeal for both leisure and corporate travel from India.
The agreement targets demand generation across India’s metro, Tier 2 and Tier 3 markets, reinforcing Sri Lanka’s positioning as a short-haul, high-value destination for Indian travellers.
